Deluge

Thunder so loud the rain decided to compete,
Throwing itself against the earth.
Thunder ups the ante,
Rolling in tsunami-like waves of furious sound.
Lightning laughs,
Tossing bolts of white flame at them both erratically for sport.
The perfect storm.
